It has been an amazing week at The Refuge. The Pavilion now has working bathrooms and kitchen. The water was piped to the bathrooms last week and the power was also turned on. It has been an exciting wek for sure. Praise God!

This past Sunday was a beautiful day as we dedicated our new office at The Refuge. It was particularly good for the folks who joined us from Monk Memorial United Methodist Church who gave us the building which is now our Office. It was built in 1938 as a Home Demonstration building. It had also been used as a church fellowship hall for quite a few years. It was fun hearing the stories from the long time members who grew up in the church and attended Sunday school in this building. They particularly liked that we left the old bench in the lobby for folks to sit on. It was a great day and we are grateful for our new office.

As of Monday, March 5 the water project became open for public bids to Greene County. We hope that we will see construction begin in mid- late April. Please be in prayer with us as this process continues to move forward.
